KIDS TOWN
Kids Town is the exciting and life changing worship environment for children between the ages of birth and fifth grade. It is much more than just an opportunity for children to be cared for while their parents are in the adult worship service. Kids Town is in reality an age appropriate worship environment where children will learn Biblical truths that will change their lives forever. We take seriously the privilege we have to invest into the lives of each child and to help them understand how awesome life can be with Jesus.
TINY TOTS ZOO
In Tiny Tots Zoo (infants and toddlers) we not only want to provide your child with loving care but we also use the time we have with your child to help him or her understand that God has created their world.
LITTLE OAKS CHAPEL
In Little Oaks Chapel (Pre-K) our mission is to partner with the parents in helping each child understand that God Made me, God Loves me, and God wants me to love others. Each Sunday in Little Oaks Chapel the children participate in a wide variety of activities that support the “point” for that day. Each point reflects one of the major truths that are mentioned above. Activities include a terrific Bible story, craft, snack, and special appearance by our friend Whiskers the Mouse.
UPSTREET
UpStreet is our worship environment for kids in grades Kindergarten through Fifth. The purpose of UpStreet is to partner with parents in developing children who are fully devoted followers of Christ who are living and learning these
3 Basic Truths:
1) I need to make the Wise choice
2) I can Trust God no matter what
3) I should treat Others the way I want to be treated.
Each week children begin their time at UpStreet in a small group where they are introduced to the lesson of the week. From there each child goes to Large Group where they listen to an exciting Bible Story and sing a few energetic songs. UpStreet then concludes with having the children return to their small group where they apply the lesson of the day. Because we value the relationships that the volunteers form with each child, your child will always be in the same grade appointed small group.
UpStreet also provides many opportunities throughout the year for the children to attend fun activities outside of the Sunday morning worship environment. Swimming parties, pizza parties, trips to Wildlife Prarie Park, and bowling parties are just a few of the recent excursions that UpStreet provides for each child to enjoy.
CHECK-IN PROCEDURES
Because we take seriously the safety of each child we require that every parent or guardian check-in their child each week of Kids Town. We have streamlined the process by allowing all children to be checked in at the Kids Town Check-In Station located in the main lobby. Each child is given a ID Badge that includes their Name, ID# and Age group. If you are needed for anything during the service your ID# will appear on the LCD screen to the right or left of the stage in the adult worship center. One ID Badge is given to you the parent, but you may request an additional one for your spouse if it is needed.
Also, we require that you show this number to the volunteer who is charge of the check-out for each classroom at the time of picking up your child. The number on your ID Badge must match the number given to your child at the time of check-in.
