Groups The Rest of the Year
Groups are an integral part of Great Oaks. As our church grows larger on Sunday, we grow smaller during the week. In fact, everything we do is designed to get you connected with a small group of people.
Groups are a great way to meet new friends, grow in your relationship with God and make a difference. We encourage everyone to be involved in a Group.
What Are Groups? Groups are made up of 12-16 people who meet in homes throughout our surrounding communities. Whether you are just checking God out, are a new follower of Christ, or have been a believer for years - a Small Group is where you need to be!
It’s in the environment of a Small Group where people can search out God's Word and enjoy real & authentic relationships with others. It is in this setting that we can share our lives with each other, pray for each other, and care for each other.
When Do Groups Meet? Groups meet almost every day of the week – in the morning, in the afternoon, and in the evenings. We offer Groups during 12-week semesters in the Fall & Spring.
How Do I Join a Group? Before each semester begins, we spend several weeks promoting our Groups and getting people plugged in. For the Fall semester, we promote Groups from mid-August to mid-September. For the Spring semester, we promote Groups throughout the month of January.
